Deleting Posts

Moderators can delete any post within the forum they moderate. Simply browse to the post you'd like to delete. Then click the X to the top right of the post. You will be prompted to confirm that you actually want to delete the post before deletion.

If you delete a topic that has replies, the Subject of the deleted topic will still appear on the Topic Index, but its Message Body will not appear on the Reply List. The Subject remains linked to on the Topic Index so that users may still view replies to that topic. If you delete all of a topic's replies, then that topic will be removed from the Topics Index.

To delete a topic and all of its replies all at once, browse to the Moderator Control Panel, by clicking the "moderate this forum" link at the bottom right of your forum.

The second to last sentence contains the link to the Moderator Control Panel.

From the Moderator Control Panel, find the topic that you'd like to delete. Click the checkbox next to that topic and then click the Delete button. That will delete a topic and all of its replies.
