Creating the 'over' state

In order to create the second appearance of the navigational elements we need to create a new frame. This frame will contain all the elements from the first frame, so we will just duplicate the first frame. After that we will create an indicator and place it in front of the text labels.

Duplicating a frame

Duplicate a Frame

All we need to do in order to duplicate an existing frame is to drag the frame in the frame panel on the add/duplicate icon.

The second frame will contain all objects and layers from the original frame. This saves us work and time

For indication of the "over" state we will use an indicator, such as a bullet or any other shaped object that appears in front of the label that is hovered over. For this tutorial we will create a triangular indicator.

Remember that we will show the "over" state for all the labels in the same frame, just as we showed the "up" state in the first frame.

HANDS ON:
Duplicate the first frame via the frames panel.
