Create an indicator symbol

Let us use create a squareindicator. The easiest way to create this object is using the square shape tool. Remember that you can use the SHIFT key while you draw to constrain the rectangle to a square. The info panel will show you the size of the object.

Draw a square that is 10 pixels side length and position it at the coordinates x=210 and y=7. We will later apply the fill and stroke settings and we'll use the effects panel to apply an inner bevel. For now we just leave the indicator as itis.

Since I had red color selected when I created the square it is solid red. Here is the result of my drawing:

HANDS ON:
Create the square indicator symbol with the square shape tool. Makeit 10 * 10 pixels and position it at x=210 and y=7.
