Changing the indicators

We will change the indicators in their position and rotate them 45 degrees so they will look like diamonds instead of squares.

We will manipulate the indicator in front of the word About.

Select the indicator in front of the word About. Select from the menu Modify > Transform > Numeric Transform. Next select 'Rotate' from the pull down menu and enter the number 45 in the degree box:

When you hit OK the instance of the indicator symbol will be turned 45 degrees around its midpoint. We have created our first diamond. The rotation does not change any attributes of the symbol itself, we still could edit it from the library and change the attributes.

Continue with the other indicators. You can use the history panel to replay the rotation. The step is labeled with the word Transform. Just select the step and hit the Replay button.

The final result of the third frame will look like this:
