Exporting

Overview

Fireworks contains powerful tools for exporting your creation to a Web-ready format. The process of exporting involves two steps: the optimization and slicing of the graphical elements, and the creation of the HTML necessary to reassemble the graphics correctly.

The convenience in this lies in the fact that Fireworks will create all the HTML and Javascript code. You need not create or edit a single line to transfer your graphics into Dreamweaver or other HTML editors.

For this tutorial, however, we will just deal with the export settings for a static graphic such as a graphical headline.
