Previewing your results

You can run your query to find all instances and preview them before replacing. When you click Find All in the Find and Replace dialog box, Dreamweaver will search the document(s) specified. You will see a status bar while Dreamweaver searches. Smaller sites will take just a few seconds. It make take a minute or longer to search large sites.

The matches for your search appear in the Results panel, where you can right-click for further options: Open the file, run a new search on one file from the results, or clear the results.
