Selecting Files to Search

The Find In: pull-down menu of the Replace dialog box allows you to choose what files Dreamweaver will search. You can specify:

1. Current Document: only the file that you have open and in focus
2. Current Site: all HTML files on your site
3. Folder... : choose this option and specify a folder on your site
4. Selected Files: any files that you currently have selected (highlighted) in the Site Management window

Like other reports, Find and Replace results appear in the Results panel, where you can click on the file to lauch it.
