Toolbars

The Contribute toolbars are context sensitive. If you are in browse mode, the toolbar displays the standard browsing options such as Back, Forward, Stop, Refresh, etc.

If you are browsing a page that you have permission to edit, you will also see an Edit Page button.

When you click the Edit Page button, the browser/editor window goes into editing mode, and the toolbar displays all the options for editing mode.

The editing toolbar features options for text and fonts, bold and italic, alignment options, lists and indenting, tables, images, links, spellchecker, and buttons to publish the page, save as a draft (save for later) and a cancel button.

The icons are designed very similar to most other web editing and word processing programs (such as Word) so the formatting toolbar should look familiar to most content providers.

The editing toolbar may look different with various site connections depending on editing preferences set by your administrator.
