Cut, Copy, and Paste

1. Drag the Selection Start marker to the frame where you want the selection to start. The Time Display indicates the time for that frame.
   
   
2. Drag the Selection End marker to the frame where you want to finish playing. For more precise control, click the Selection Start or Selection End indicator at the left of the Time Display and then use the Left or Right Arrow key to move that Selection marker frame by frame to the left or right.
   
   
3. Choose Edit | Copy or, if you want to delete this section of the movie, choose Edit | Cut.
   
   
4. To copy the entire movie, choose Edit | Select All and then Edit | Copy.
   
   
5. To paste what you have copied, drag the Current Location marker to the place where you want the copy to appear.
   
   
6. Choose Edit | Paste.
   
   
7. If you want to paste the selection into a new movie, select File | New Player and then Edit | Paste.
