Save Your Work

On the A/V Encoding Station, the path to the folder on the hard drive designated for saving your work in progress is:

D:\Temp\

When you save your work by selecting File | Save, the software applications installed on the encoding stations will choose this folder by default. Each time an encoding station is rebooted, this temporary folder is purged, and any work saved there is deleted.

Because the A/V Encoding Stations are public workstations, any work you save to the hard drive will remain there only for the duration of your login session. When you logout, all your work stored on disk will be erased. We recommend saving to a 100 or 200MB Zip disk or a writable CD. Also, we recommend that you upload your files to a server using AbsoluteFTP or Dreamweaver whenver you've made significant changes to your work.
