Current Users of Dreamweaver, Fireworks, or Flash

Departments who have previously purchased Dreamweaver, Fireworks, or Flash can upgrade to the MX versions of those products at a reduced cost.

The prices for an upgrade license are:

Product

Upgrade Price

Breakdown of Price

Dreamweaver MX for Windows

$53

($38 for license, $15 for CD)

Fireworks MX for Windows

$53

($38 for license, $15 for CD)

Flash MX for Windows

$53

($38 for license, $15 for CD)

Dreamweaver MX for Macintosh

$53

($38 for license, $15 for CD)

Fireworks MX for Macintosh

$53

($38 for license, $15 for CD)

Flash MX for Macintosh

$53

($38 for license, $15 for CD)

When ordering more than one copy of a product, further savings are available by foregoing some of the CDs.

For example, if you order 10 upgrade copies of Dreamweaver, you will receive 10 licenses and 10 CDs at a total cost of $530. The cost of the CD ($15) is included in the upgrade price of $53. You can save money by purchasing only 1 or 2 CDs to be shared among your staff.

So, you could order 10 upgrade copies and specify in your order that you want only 2 CDs. You save the cost of 8 CDs or $120. Of course, you could order only 1 CD or 5, or any number up to the number of licenses. Remember, your department can share CDs, but you must purchase a license for each user.

Restrictions for Current Users

You are eligible to purchase upgrades for as many licenses as you currently own. However, there are several restrictions.

  1. You cannot switch license platforms. For example, if you own a license for a Macintosh version of Dreamweaver, you cannot purchase an upgrade for a Windows version.
  2. You cannot switch products. For example, if you own a license for Flash, you cannot upgrade to Fireworks.
  3. If you want more copies of a product than licenses you currently own, you must purchase new licenses for the extra copies (see next section).
