Mission Services Servers Server Specifications Student Jobs History

Networked Information Services (NIS) provides web services to the students, faculty, staff, and departments at Boston University. NIS teaches classes, provides consulting, designs sites, develops web-based databases and applications, conducts webcasts, produces multimedia presentations, and brings new web technologies to campus.

NIS is a unit within the Office of Information Technology. Established in January 1998, NIS is charged by the President with the responsibility of guiding, coordinating, and supporting this University's web efforts. NIS does this for the benefit of the extended University community: students, faculty, researchers, and staff, alumni, prospective students, and anyone interested in this great University.
