The Phillips Collection —
On Saturday, April 21 at 1:00pm, a representative from The Phillips Collection will take Boston University alumni on a guided tour of the Moving Pictures: American Art and Early Film exhibit that presents American realist painting from the late 19th and early 20th centuries side-by-side with the earliest experiments in film.
National Gallery of Art —
The National Gallery of Art houses one of the finest collections in the world illustrating major achievements in painting, sculpture, decorative arts, and works on paper from the Middle Ages to the present.
Please join us on Saturday, April 21 at 11:00am for a guided tour of the gallery. A docent will highlight works of art answering questions that participants may have.
National Portrait Gallery
On Saturday, April 21 at 1:00pm alumni have the opportunity to join a National Portrait Gallery docent for a tour of the gallery highlighting the America’s Presidents exhibition housed in the Patent Office Building, one of the oldest federal buildings in Washington.
The National Portrait Gallery recently reopened after a major six year renovation process to restore it to its Greek Revival style grandeur.
