Overview

The overall goal of the Boston University Washington DC program is to take advantage of what DC has to offer to enrich the participating students, both academically and professionally.

Class and Internship Schedules

Class schedules and offerings vary by the semester. For internship and management program students, classes are generally held in the evening after they are done with their internships. For journalism program students, classes are more likely to be held during the day. For a complete list of course offerings and descriptions, please click here.

Class Locations

Classes are held in the BUDC office, located one block from the Dupont Circle South Metro entrance on Massachusets Avenue in downtown Washington. Get directions to our office.

Faculty

Classes are taught by local experts in their fields. Many of our faculty members do professionally what they teach.

Registration

Students will register for classes during their first week of classes. All course registration will be done while students are in DC.

Grading and Credits

Grades are awarded like any course on campus. The amount of credits is dependent on the program.
