The Debonair is located in the Woodley Park neighborhood of DC, right above the metro. You are just a 15 minute metro ride from the heart of the city, including the White House. The Debonair is less than four years old and features apartment style living, with a full kitchen, laundry onsite, and a lounge on each floor. You are walking distance from the Zoo, Rock Creek Park, and many nearby restaurants.

Academically, all classes count towards your major as if you were studying on campus. The classes are taught by local experts and are held in our office, which is located just one metro stop from the Debonair in Dupont Circle. Classes are kept small so that you are able to interact with your professors, ask them questions, and get to know your classmates and professors.

In addition to your academics and internships, students are taken to numerous places throughout the city–everything from a tour of the White House to a live viewing of Meet the Press. When you leave Washington, you will have left with not just a great internship, but also with connections to help you start your career. A majority of students that come through the program end up returning to Washington for their professional career.

This program isn’t just a study abroad program–it is a place for students to start their career. Come join us.
