WARA has two major publications, both of which are published twice yearly:
- The WARA Newsletter, and
- The African Conflict and Peacebuilding Review, which is published by Indiana University Press
WARA also publishes conference proceedings from some of its conferences and workshops. The proceedings of the second Saharan Crossroads Conference, held in 2011 in Niamey, Niger, have just been published by Cambridge Scholars Publishing. Video files of the first Saharan-Crossroad conference (2009, Tangier, Morocco), are available on DVD from WARA.
The West African Peace Initiative (WAPI), another program of WARA, held three regional conferences on peace and conflict (Dakar 2009, Freetown 2010, Praia 2011). Complete video-documentation of the presentations can be found on the WAPI website.
