Boston Museum of Science
Dedicated to the understanding of science and technology, the Museum of Science has numerous exhibits, planetarium shows, courses, day trips, and more.

Boston Tea Party Ship and Museum
The Boston Tea Party Ship and Museum offers a multitude of easy to understand exhibits, films, and memorabilia that tells the story of the Boston Tea Party.

Children's Museum
The Children's Museum in Boston helps children understand and enjoy the world in which they live. A variety of scientific and cultural exhibits encourage imagination, curiosity, role-playing, and questioning.

Decordova Museum and Sculpture Park
DeCordova is the largest museum of modern and contemporary American art in the Boston area and often features the work of prominent New England artists. DeCordova features the only public sculpture park of its kind in the region, the largest non-degree granting studio art program in the state.

Gibson House Museum
The Gibson House is one of the oldest houses in Boston's Back Bay and offers a spectacular look at the opulence of Victorian Boston. On view at the house are the family china, paintings, photographs, curios, and heirloom pieces.

Institute of Contemporary Art
Founded in 1936, The Institute of Contemporary Art is the oldest non-collecting contemporary arts institution in the United States. The ICA strives to share the pleasures of reflection, inspiration, provocation, and imagination that contemporary art offers by providing public access to art, artists and the creative process.

Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum
The museum houses Isabella Stewart Gardner's extensive collection of paintings, furnishings, sculptures, and decorative arts. The central courtyard garden changes regularly to include seasonal plants and flowers. In addition the museum offers courses, concerts, and lectures on a regular basis.

John F. Kennedy Library and Museum
The Museum's goal is to capture, preserve and exhibit for scholars and visitors of future generations the history and essence of President Kennedy's life and career, and to encourage understanding, respect for and participation in public service.

Longyear Museum
The Longyear Museum collects and preserves historic documentation and artifactual material on Mary Baker Eddy's life and achievements and the history of the Christian Science movement.

Massachussetts Museum of Contemporary Art
Open to the public since May 1999, MASS MoCA is an extraordinary project to convert a 27-building historic mill complex in the Berkshire mountains of Western Massachusetts into a multi-disciplinary center for visual, performing and media arts.

MIT Museum
The MIT Museum houses extensive collections of art, artifacts, drawings, photographs, and instruments documenting MIT's role in 19th- and 20th- century science and technology, including world-renowned collections in holography, architecture, and nautical history.

Museum of Afro American History
The Museum of Afro American History (MAAH) is a not-for-profit history institution dedicated to preserving, conserving and accurately interpreting the contributions of African Americans during the colonial period in New England.

Museum of Bad Art
The pieces in the MOBA collection range from the work of talented artists that have gone awry, to works of exuberant, although crude, execution by artists barely in control of the brush. What they all have in common is a special quality that sets them apart in one way or another from the merely incompetent.

Museum of Fine Arts
The Museum of Fine Arts houses and preserves preeminent collections and aspires to serve a wide variety of people through direct encounters with works of art. It serves as a resource for both those who are already familiar with art and those for whom art is a new experience.

Museum of Transportation
The Museum of Transportation is located in the historic 1888 Carriage House once owned by Larz and Isabel Anderson. The Museum owns and displays the Anderson Collection of Motorcars, which is America’s oldest car collection, and spotlights the significant social and cultural changes produced by the automobile in the late nineteenth and twentieth centuries.

New England Aquarium
The New England Aquarium centers around the 187,000-gallon Giant Ocean Tank, filled with sea turtles, tropical fish, sharks and moray eels. Every day, aquarium divers hand feed the sharks as visitors look on. More than 70 exhibits feature aquatic animals from around the world and from here in New England.

USS Constitution Museum
The USS Constitution Museum brings to life the stories of the individuals who authorized, built, served on and preserved USS Constitution. Through hands-on exhibits, displays of historic artifacts, computer simulated re-enactments, and public programming, the Museum strives to make a personal connection to our American past and the heritage of USS Constitution.
