Boston University Laundry/Web
Dear Residents,
Boston University’s Vending Services and the Terrier Card Office are pleased to announce that Laundry Web has just been installed in all of the on-campus laundry room where the Terrier Card is accepted. As part of our ongoing quest to improve your living experience here at Boston University, you now have the ability to check the availability of laundry machines from the comfort of your room or through your web-enabled cell phone.
With Laundry Web you can see which machines are available and which are currently in use. In addition, you can sign up for email or text notification when machines become available or when your laundry cycle is complete. To get started go to www.bu.edu/studentlink/ and select “Laundry Rooms” under the “Food & Shelter” tab. From there you will be directed to login using your Kerberos password.
On the “CS Gold WebCard Center” home page, select the Laundry Web link in the left hand column. From there, you can select “Room Status” to find and bookmark your favorite laundry room(s). Selecting the room in the left hand column will allow you to view the real-time activity of all of the washers and dryers. The columns on the right will indicate the machines status along with the number of other students who have inquired about availability. By clicking on the “Notify” button, you can request to be notified by email or text when the machine becomes available or when your laundry cycle is complete.
Some of the features available on the Laundry Web website include the ability to:
- Display the number of washers and dryers in use and currently available
- Display the remaining time on each machine that is in use
- Receive an email or text when the machine(s) that you are using have finished their cycle.
- Email or text notification of the availability of one or more machines
I hope you take the time to use this helpful tool and that it makes your living experience here at Boston University even more enjoyable.
