Research Activities

The Boston University Vasculitis Center is devoted to the scientific research of vasculitis; continually working to discover new treatments, develop new diagnostic methods, and improve the quality of life for people with vasculitis.

We are a member of the Vasculitis Clinical Research Consortium (VCRC), which is an integrated group of academic medical centers, patient support organizations, and clinical research resources dedicated to conducting clinical research in different forms of vasculitis.  The VCRC is directed from University of Pennsylvania and includes sites at Boston University School of Medicine, Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Mayo Clinic, Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto, St. Joseph’s Healthcare in Hamilton, Ontario, University of Pittsburgh, and University of Utah.
