Motivation, Emotion, and Mental Illness

Volunteer, UROP, Academic Credit

The Approach Motivation and Participation (AMP) lab is looking for volunteers to become part of our research team. The AMP lab measures motivation and emotion as mechanisms of onset and course in mental health (e.g., schizophrenia, bipolar disorder) and other conditions (e.g., Parkinson’s disease). We are specifically looking for volunteers with people skills and genuine scientific curiosity. Neuroscience, psychological sciences, computer science, and health science majors would be a strong fit for our needs. There are ample opportunities for contact with patients (i.e., running participants through research protocols) and interaction with the PI and other AMP Lab members. At least a 1-year commitment is preferred. Please contact if interested in learning more.
