My computational synthetic biology lab works on understanding and performing computation in biology. To that end I am looking for a bright driven student to help build the next generation of programming tools for molecular biological programming.
You must have some background in programming in a high level language (java/C/C++) and a basic background in software engineering, algorithms, and data structures.
You don’t need a background in biology, though it will help come up to speed. On the other hand, you must be willing to learn some molecular biology.
Please email me your c.v. (showing grades in four technical (math/cs) courses) and a short letter describing what you’re looking to get out of this experience.Back to On-Campus Opportunities
