UROP – Opportunities

Current Opportunities

Boston University offers a host of undergraduate research opportunities. Some are sponsored by UROP and others are sponsored by external grant programs. Some provide academic credit for undergraduate research and others are volunteer opportunities simply to gain experience or research techniques. Only projects which need UROP funding require an application to UROP. Students doing research for credit should discuss credit-granting policies with their mentor.

The Faculty Postings below displays current opportunities that Boston University faculty have submitted. In some cases the projects are ongoing and some are for a semester only. Students should contact the faculty member directly to inquire about the opportunity.

If after searching these postings you do not find a specific project that fits, please consult the Faculty Research Interests section. If you find a faculty member whose research interests might match your own, send an email, call, or set up an appointment to ask if that faculty member might be willing to serve as a research mentor.
