1. To apply for the Beckman Foundation Scholars Award you will need to complete the form below and then click on the submit button at the bottom of the page. Please make sure that you are eligible to apply. Eligibility requirements are outlined on the Beckman home page.

2. Please read through the project descriptions of the Faculty Mentors and pick three projects that you are interested in working on. Rank them with project 1 being your first choice.

3. NOTE: If you see a field error message after you click the submit button, go back to this form, fill in the missing information, and then click on the submit button again. Once the data have been successfully transmitted to UROP you will see a "Thank you" message. You will also receive an automated email response from UROP.

4. If you encounter any technical difficulties in submitting this on-line form, please contact the UROP office before the application deadline.

Essays
1) Describe any previous laboratory research experience you have had.

2) Write a short essay on why you are interested in the Beckman Scholars program and describe your career goals.
