The Office of Undergraduate Research at the University of Missouri coordinates a number of summer research programs for undergraduates enrolled at other institutions. All programs run for 9 weeks. Students selected for these programs live in on-campus, air conditioned housing, and receive a full meal plan, covered by the program. Summer interns are also provided with funds to cover one hour of academic research credit, travel to and from Columbia, and a stipend of $3400. For more information, click here.

Danforth Center – Donald Danforth Plant Science Center Summer Undergraduate Internship Program
11-week program in which undergraduates conduct laboratory research in Plant Biology, including Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Genomics, Development, Physiology, and Biotic and Abiotic stress. The program also includes workshops, field trips, and other activities. Travel, housing, and stipend provided.

Washington University in St. Louis – Biomedical Research Apprenticeship Program
A 10-week summer research for undergraduates interested in biomedical research careers. The program provides a generous stipend, free housing, free travel to and from St. Louis and travel of a parent to the closing poster session.
