This is an NSF REU site in Marine Comparative Functional Genomics. Students select a primary mentor from among our summer faculty, who represent dozens of universities and graduate schools from around the US. Students conduct independent, hands-on-research. Travel, housing, and stipend provided.
University of Maine – REU-The Next Generation of Researchers
10-week program for undergraduate interested in research in Chemical and Biological Engineering, Chemistry, Forestry, Molecular Biology, Resource Economics and Wood Science and Technology. The objective is to provide research participation among a diverse group of students in the area of sustainable forest bio-products. Travel, housing, and stipend provided.
The Jackson Laboratories – Summer Student Program
This program engages students in research internships in genetics, bioinformatics, and mouse models of human diseases. Students work on independent project with scientist mentors. Travel, housing, and stipend provided.
