Los Alamos National Laboratory – Undergraduate Internship Program
A year-round educational program that provides students with relevant research experience while they are pursuing an undergraduate degree. This educational program is designed to complement the students’ education with work experience related to their chosen field of study. There are appointments in both the technical and administrative fields. Appointments are available for 90-day summer internships with the option to continue working part-time during the academic year.

9-week undergraduate summer research program for students to work on one of eight possible environmentally related research projects in a collaborative and interdisciplinary manner. Participants also take part in field trips that explore the rich environmental, cultural, and historical heritage of New Mexico.

Summer program is funded by NSF. Research activities include virtual reality based simulation, micro/nano/bio systems, space systems assembly. This program is only for undergraduates who have physical challenges. Travel, housing, stipend provided.
