10-wek hands-on training program for students of the sciences. Participants receive training in research methods, analyze data and present results of their work at a formal research symposium. University of Georgia – Research Experience for Undergraduates: Research in Prokaryotic biology
Independent research projects will address the diverse roles of bacteria archaea using state-of-the-art technologies. Topics will range from the role of microbes in environmental processes to their role in human health. Participants will also present their results as a poster, participate in ethics workshops, and attend scientific seminars.
