Versace – Neuro-inspired Robotics

The Neuromorphics Lab (http://nl.bu.edu/) studies biological intelligence with the goal of creating robots that come closer to animals in their ability to perceive, think, and act upon their environment. The lab, funded by several agencies including NASA, NSF, DARPA, and private companies, has projects in the following areas:

– sensory perception
– navigation
– decision making
– human-robot interaction

Applications range from land robots, to flying robots, to self-driving cars.
