Options: Potential for UROP Funding

I would like to welcome a fully-funded UROP student to assist with ongoing qualitative research involving the social determinants of shared medical decision-making among disadvantaged populations, including minority women with uncontrolled diabetes and cardiovascular disease, and people with disabilities surrounding decisions for advance directives and end of life care. A summer UROP student would assist with the completion of these projects, including conducting any remaining interviews, transcription, coding, training in qualitative methods, analysis of data, and then depending on level of contribution, may be eligible for authorship on any subsequent publications. This is an excellent opportunity for any undergraduate students looking for qualitative research experience for medical school admissions.
