The Definitions of Friendship project is a systematic review of published research on friendships between K-12 students with and without intellectual disabilities, autism, or other developmental disabilities. The guiding research question is: How is friendship defined in research on friendships between K-12 students with and without these disabilities? The literature search has already been conducted. I am looking for 1-2 graduate or undergraduate students to fill research positions of about 5-7 hours per week. These positions will involve administrative tasks, qualitative coding of definitions, literature reviews, and opportunities to learn about the topic and the research methods. Strong candidates will be independently motivated, organized, and interested in the topic. Prior research experience is preferred but not required. If you are interested, please send a resume to Professor Zachary Rossetti at zsr@bu.edu.
