Opportunity is available for undergraduate pre-med students to get trained and involved in medical science research.
Current projects in our lab involve research in immunology and diet-induced-obesity.

Selected students will be trained in various immunology technologies including isolation and tissue culture of immune cells, ELISA, Immunohistochemistry, advanced microscopy. Ten to fifteen hours per week is required to ensure sufficient training and participating and assisting in experiment. Students will also be trained for basic lab operation. Students will be encouraged to attend weekly lab meeting and journal club as allowed by class schedule.
Basic knowledge in biology lab is required. Lab safety training is required prior joining the lab.
