Research assistants are needed to assist with various aspects of the Strong Families Strong Forces project, a grant funded by the Department of Defense to develop and test a home-based reintegration program for military families who have recently experienced a deployment to Iraq or Afghanistan. Specifically, interested applicants will have an opportunity to participate in coding of qualitative interview data to identify specific needs of military parents, how deployment affects families with very young children, and Strong Families program effects. There will also be other opportunities to become involved in the project in a variety of ways. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on research experience and learn about doing clinical intervention research with military families who have very young children.
