Sarah Novick

Options: Volunteer Basis
We are looking for 2-3 undergraduate research assistants for approximately 5 (or more) hours per week during the summer of 2013 to support a mixed methods research study exploring the academic, social and emotional effects of an advisory program at an elite independent school. The position would primarily entail transcribing audio-recorded teacher and student interviews as well as opportunities to learn about research methods. No prior research experience is necessary. The content of the interviews may be particularly interesting for those learning about education, sociology, anthropology, or psychology. There is a possibility for academic course credit for continued work in the fall, during which time the research assistant may help with coding and data analysis. Interested students should send a resume to project manager, Sarah Novick at snovick@bu.edu.
