Computational Chemistry and Biophysics – Straub

A research position is available in the Straub Lab in the Department of Chemistry starting in Fall 2012 to pursue a problem related to the molecular dynamics of proteins.
Applicants should have a solid background in (1) introductory general and organic chemistry, (2) calculus with a working knowledge of linear algebra and differential equations, (3) introductory calculus-based physics, and (4) comfort in working with computers and an interest in coding.
The ideal applicant would be willing to commit to one year or more of research (if all things go well). Hours and compensation are negotiable, but hours should not be less than eight per week.
