This project will create a system of wireless motes to monitor the status of infants. Senors attached to a baby blanket will measure heartbeat, temperature, humidity, and location. These will be monitored from a desktop or mobile application. This work requires programming skills in Java and/or C++. Also experience with embedded electronics is a plus. Currently a prototype system exists. This work will build on that prototype to work toward a more polished product. In addition, this project has commercial aspirations and is affiliated with Kocoon Tech (http://www.kocoontech.com/).
