PROJECT DESCRIPTION:My primary research focuses on the design and implementation of programming languages. I have also developed keen interests in promoting software engineering benefits through program language design. Currently, we are in the process of designing and implementing ATS, a programming language with an advanced type system rooted in the framework Applied Type System. More information on ATS is available at: http://www.ats-lang.org.I am constantly looking for undergraduate students who are passionate about programming. I currently have several ongoing projects , which all require significant programming skills. I will be happy to explain to you about these projects in detail, and then you see for yourself wether you would like to get involved.
