Bio:
For those souls who have stumbled upon my biography…WELCOME! My name is Jonathan Pasquale. I was born on August 24, 1986 in Miami, Florida. Until coming to BU, I resided in the community of Cooper City, Florida, approximately 30 minutes west-south-west- of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I decided to attend Boston University for the opportunities it presented to students both during their undergraduate careers and post-graduation. I am a senior pursuing a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration with a Concentration in Accounting as well as a certified public accountant (CPA) license. Sometime down the road, I will pursue a Master’s in Education, Public Health, or Accounting. I plan to pursue a career in Accounting, Education, Health Management, or Political Theatre.

I’ve been involved in BU Admissions Day Host Program since its inception in the fall of 2005 because I enjoy discussing with prospective and accepted students about their futures and how BU will guide and inspire them to reach higher and go farther then they have ever gone before. I also tutor students in introductory SMG courses at the BU Educational Resource Center.

My first encounters with the Student Union occurred on February 7, 2007 at the Academic Affairs Committee meeting, where I presented an idea to change the final exam exemption policy. I continued my involvement with that committee by researching advising programs at Boston University. I also joined the Technology Committee later that semester with the goal of providing information to students about the issues and consequences of illegal filesharing. During the summer of 2007, I was a member of the advisory council (SUAC) and along with Kyle Getz and Akshay Navaladi, co-planned and co-directed the first annual Majors Expo that took place on September 28, 2007.

I am very appreciative to serve the student body as the Chair of the Technology Committee. However, my position comes with important responsibilities, including uniting the BU community together around a particular issue, which is something that I strive to do before I graduate. I will also continue my involvement after graduation as an alumnus.
