Bio:
Leo Gameng comes from the great village of Skokie, Illinois, a small town 15 minutes north of Chicago. As a student at Niles North High School, Leo served as president of the Student Association and the Class Board of 2005 and volunteered as teacher’s assistant in the English department. Leo has also worked as a volunteer for Evanston Northwestern Healthcare and has been an intern for the Illinois Republican party.
Leo is a junior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Mathematics with a Specialization in Statistics. He considers punching numbers into his calculator and projecting the stock market a strong passion of his. Leo is a member of the BU Catholic Center and their 12:30 mass choir and works on-campus as an intramural sports referee for flag football, basketball, volleyball, and softball.
Leo is excited for the opportunity that he has received to work with the Student Union again this year. This year Leo hopes that he can use his experience working as the intern/page student director of the Illinois State Assembly to help the Student Union. Leo is looking forward to advocate change for all Boston University students because he believes that being an elected member from Bay State is to be voted by the people and truly represent their needs. He is committed to get these things done.
Some of Leo’s interests include being a thrill seeker, politics, being dedicated to his faith, traveling with his family by car around the United States and Canada, eating, the Game Show Network, the Food Network, spending time with friends, cheering on Da Chicago Bears and caring about people.
