The University Professors Program is no longer accepting applications to its programs.

Based on the recommendations of a review committee, the University will be developing a new University-wide honors program and phasing out the University Professors Program as a free-standing unit within the University. The program will be phased out gradually and students currently enrolled will continue in the program. Boston University is committed to meeting its obligations to currently enrolled UNI students. UNI Distinguished Alumni Awards

We are seeking nominations for the UNI Distinguished Alumni Awards for alumni who have exhibited professional distinction in their fields since graduating from the UNI
Program. Nominations will be accepted from alumni and faculty. All nominations should be accompanied by a supporting statement. Nominations can be submitted to Susan Tomassetti by September 15, 2008 via email to susantom@bu.edu or by mail to Ms. Tomassetti's attention at: Boston University, University Professors Program, 745
Commonwealth Avenue, Boston MA 02215. Awards will be presented at the Reunion Dinner on October 24.
