Parking
Metered street parking is available on Commonwealth Avenue and on surrounding area streets.
Boston University's Parking Services Granby Street pay lot is located at 665 Commonwealth Avenue which is down the street from our offices.
Lot rates are $3.00 per half hour with a maximum charge of $12.00 per day when arriving before 4:00 P.M.
Directions to Upward Bound at Boston University from north, south and west of Boston.
Coming from West of Boston:
Take I-90 to exit 18 (Cambridge/Brighton). Pay toll, then follow signs for Cambridge through the first light. Turn right at the next light, keeping the Double Tree Guest Suite hotel on the right. Take Soldier's Field/Storrow Drive to the Kenmore Square exit. Turn right at the light at the end of the exit. At your first fork bear left (you pass Kenmore Square bus terminal on your left and Barnes and Noble on your right). Bear right before the next fork onto Commonwealth Avenue. You pass one set of lights. Before your next set of lights there is Sargent College on your right. The entrance to the Boston University Granby Street parking lot is just beyond Sargent College.
Coming from North or South of Boston:
Take I-93. Get off at the Storrow Drive Exit. Take Storrow Drive to the Kenmore Square exit. Turn right at the light at the end of the exit. At your first fork bear left (you pass Kenmore Square bus terminal on your left and Barnes and Noble on your right). Bear right before the next fork onto Commonwealth Avenue. You pass one set of lights. Before your next set of lights there is Sargent College on your right. The entrance to the Boston University Granby Street parking lot is just beyond the Sargent College.
