Completed in 1989, the Tsai Performance Center at Boston University
defines the ideal performance space for concerts, theatrical and
dance presentations, lectures, film programs, and conferences. Situated
in the College of Arts and Sciences building in the heart of the
Boston University campus, the Tsai Performance Center radiates a
simple warmth and elegance, embracing fully supported sound and
lighting systems to meet the demands of the most complex events.
With a maximum seating capacity of 525, this proscenium stage offers
excellent sightlines that enable you to appreciate the onstage performance
from every seat in the house.
The Tsai Performance Center is a superb facility made possible
through the generosity of the Tsai family, especially Gerald
Tsai, Jr., a distinguished alumnus and Trustee of Boston University.
Its programs serve not only the University community but draw audiences
from across New England.
Our dedicated student production crew compliments the Tsai Center
professional staff in coordinating and implementing the technical
needs of your event. Front-of-house staff includes trained student
ushers and a box office staff to support the needs of your patrons.
