MBTA, Green Line, "B" train, Boston University East stop (2 stops past Kenmore going outbound). Entrance to the Tsai Center is across the street from this stop.

Driving Directions

The Visitor Center at Boston University provides interactive directions to campus and maps for easy reference.

FROM SOUTH:

1. Take I-93 Route 3 (Southeast Expressway) North to Boston.
2. Exit onto Storrow Drive.
3. Continue on Storrow Drive to the Kenmore Square exit.
4. Follow directions from Kenmore Square.

FROM NORTH:

1. Take I-93 or Route 1 South to Boston.
2. Exit onto Storrow Drive.
3. Continue on Storrow Drive to the Kenmore Square exit.
4. Follow directions from Kenmore Square.

FROM WEST:

1. Take the Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90) East to Exit 18, Brighton/Cambridge.
2. Exit left. Follow signs to Cambridge to the second set of lights.
3. Turn right at the lights onto Soldiers Field Road/Storrow Drive.
4. Exit Storrow Drive at the Kenmore exit.
5. Follow directions from Kenmore Square.

FROM LOGAN AIRPORT:

1. Take Route 1-A through the Sumner Tunnel.
2. Follow signs onto the Expressway North.
3. Take the Back Bay/Storrow Drive exit, and follow signs onto Storrow Drive.
4. Continue on Storrow Drive to the Kenmore exit.
5. Follow directions from Kenmore Square.

FROM KENMORE SQUARE:

1. At the first set of traffic lights, turn right onto Beacon Street.
2. At this point, the road forks. The right fork is Bay State Road.
3. Take Bay State Road for access to the Tsai Center loading space and the parking lot at 240 Bay State Road.
4. The left fork takes you into Kenmore Square. Bear right at the far end of Kenmore Square onto Commonwealth Avenue.
5. The Tsai Performance Center is located at 685 Commonwealth Avenue, 2 blocks outside of Kenmore Square on the right hand side, past Granby Street. There is a green clock tower directly in front of the Tsai Center and we are located across the street from the visible MBTA Green Line "BU East" stop.

*PARKING INFO:

Metered parking is available along Commonwealth Avenue as well as Bay State Road.

Parking lots along Commonwealth Avenue:
Follow directions above into Kenmore Square. Go through Kenmore Square, staying to the right, to Commonwealth Avenue. The first right is Deerfield Street. A commercial lot is available there. Further up Commonwealth Avenue, there is another commercial lot on the corner of Granby Street. Prices and availability of these lots varies.

Parking lot at 240 Bay State Road (behind Tsai Center):
This lot is primarily for BU permits only.
Follow directions above to Kenmore Square exit and take Bay State Road. There is a parking lot directly behind the Tsai Center located at 240 Bay State Road. Prices vary and availability is limited.

Red Sox games and events at Fenway impacts available parking in our neighborhood. We encourage guests to use public transportation or check the game schedule and allow appropriate time to locate parking.
