MEN WIN AGAINST NORTHEASTERN AND ALBANY IN OPENER

The men's team opened up the season with spirited victories over Northeastern (16-43) and Albany (16-42) in a double dual cross country meet on a sunny, warm day at Franklin Park. The Terrier trio of Jochen Dieckfoss, Jordan Jones, and Rob Wong along with Albany's Allstadt formed the lead pack by two miles. By the four mile mark, Dieckfoss and Allstadt had a five second lead over Rob Wong, with Jordan Jones another ten second lead back. With a strong move over the final 400 meters Jochen pulled away for a comfortable victory in 25:13 over the 5 mile course. Allstadt of Albany finished second, while Rob Wong finished a strong third, with Jordan Jones holding on to the fourth place. Liam Revell grabbed the sixth place finish for the Terriers, while Paul Morrice, in tenth, was BU's fifth man and final scorer.

The two wins put BU's seasonal record at 2 - 0.
