Personal
Julia was born in Denmark and grew up in Wanganuii, New Zealand, before coming to Boston to study. For the past three semesters Julia has achieved a grade point average of 4.0 (on a 4.0 scale) in the College of Arts and Sciences.
Career Highlights Julia has run 2:12 for the 800 and 4:42 for the mile. In the fall of 2002, Julia joined the cross country team an recorded a 5k time of 19:12.

The Coach's Comments:

Julia took a year off for travel after graduating high school. Her first year back to competitive running then started slowly, but she has been gaining in strength and conditioning in the meantime. We believe 2003 will mark a number of new improvements in her development.
