"I love to teach and I feel that my coaching is a natural extension of that affection. I feel that my legacy as a teacher and as a coach is to take my experiences, knowledge and expertise and pass it on to others so that they might have the same positive experiences in track and field that I have had in my life. As an athlete and a coach, I have had the good fortune of being coached by and working with many knowledgeable coaches. My coaching is a combination of all of these experiences with a dash of my own personality."

"My goal as a coach is to get each of my athletes to realize what it means to be committed to an endeavour and then, with my guidance, get them to make that effort on their own. I also feel that there is a side lesson being taught that this same effort is needed to be successful in the "real" world. "

"I am thrilled to be back at Boston University as a coach. It is a program that I helped get off the ground and have watched as itdeveloped and grew into one of the top women's programs in the East. I have the utmost respect and admiration for the knowledge and style of the present coaching staff and look forward to adding my skills and experiences to the program. "
