Being Dead, Jeff Boedeker (COM'08)


After viewing Chris Marker’s seminal 1962 film La Jetée, constructed almost entirely out of black-and-white still photos, Boedeker was inspired. The film “changed my entire perception of how a story could be told,” he says, “and the possibilities of film as a language.”

The best I've seen

This is by far the most interesting and prolific work I've seen come out of an otherwise bland BU's film program. Finally someone is testing new territories with film, a credit to the film shcool. Hope to see further works from this guy.
