PTSD Amongst Women Veterans

I support our returning women veterans and give my full support to their receiving all of the benefits received by male veterans inclusive of disability benefits for PTSD. Returning women veterans face many of the same emotional, social, and economic problems as returning male veterans. A military comrade is a military comrade regardless of gender. A military veteran is a military veteran regardless of gender. I am an honorably discharged Vietnam War combat veteran. I served as an Infantryman (squad leader) with the US Army;4th Inf. Div,, 2/8th Inf.; Republic of Vietnam 1969-1970. I never developed PTSD but some of my comrades in Vietnam did. One died of PTSD.
