Ars Nova

My first thought is that it reminded me of some of the mannered music of the late Middle Ages -- the complexity of inner states of feeling that found a home in courtly intellectual life. But Fineburg's work is of course, post Freudian and Jungian. I wonder if the novel is the hetero equivalent of "Death in Venice"? I can see that it would be controversial, and I can't wait to experience it live. Congratulations Joshua! RB
