And if I am correct, at that time it was NOT called the MBTA rather the MTA. If you want to see a replica of the above streetcar go no further than Bolyston

FYI: At the corner of Newbury Street/Mass Ave (between Outfitters and formerly Best Buy Store) if its not buried by now, one can see just “barely’ a trolley track embedded in the ground! That’s where the old trolley car (the one stationed in Boylston Street Station/Inbound/wooden model) use to run then go right into Hynes Station (formerly Mass Station)! The older trolley made a lot of NOISE!!!!
