There are 3 comments on The Favorite Poem Project Comes Home to BU—20 Years Later

  1. Mike, I remember well how dad would say the poem. He was so dramatic. I think he had to memorize it when he was in high school. I thought it was a sad poem. Especially when he got to the end “fallen COLD and DEAD”.

  2. I look very much forward to the favorite poem project each year. This one touched my heart deeply. Nothing like love for one’s father.

Thank you Robert Pinsky and BU Today for keeping this project alive. Last year’s anniversary, live reading was a true highlight of the Fall.

    Thank you!
